How OKFunalo Keeps Your Login Secure
Every time you log in to OKFunalo, multiple layers of security are working in the background to verify that it's genuinely you — and to stop anyone else from getting into your account. Here's what OKFunalo does on its end, and what we recommend you do on yours.
SSL Encryption on Every Login
Your OKFunalo login credentials — username, email, password — are transmitted over a 256-bit SSL-encrypted connection every single time. Nobody between your device and OKFunalo's servers can intercept or read your login details in transit.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
OKFunalo strongly recommends enabling 2FA on your account. With 2FA active, every OKFunalo login requires both your password and a one-time code sent to your registered Philippine mobile number. Even if someone knows your password, they can't log in without your phone.
Login Location Monitoring
OKFunalo tracks the device and general location associated with each login attempt. If a login is detected from an unusual location or device, you'll receive a security alert on your registered email or mobile number so you can confirm the login was yours or take action immediately.
Failed Login Protection
After several consecutive failed login attempts, OKFunalo temporarily locks the account as a security precaution. You'll receive an email with instructions to unlock your account securely. This prevents brute-force attacks on your OKFunalo login credentials.
Session Timeout
OKFunalo automatically logs you out after a period of inactivity to prevent unauthorised access if you leave your device unattended. This is especially important when using OKFunalo from a shared device or public Wi-Fi connection.
